Logan Perez

Logan is a 20 year old New York native who moved to Southern Illinois when he was 14 around the same time he began to play the bass. It only took him about a year of the bass until he found his love for the upright bass. He played all through high school and graduated from SWIC with an associates degree in music technologies. He then transferred to SIUE and began studying jazz performance. He playes in three groups around the southern Illinois and St. Louis area. With his hand in bluegrass, a Frank Sinatra tribute band, and a jazz combo, he has studied with some of the best musicians in St. Louis. He has been teaching bass and drum lessons for about two years.
