Gretsch G2420 Streamliner™ Hollow Body with Chromatic II, Laurel Fingerboard, Broad’Tron™ BT-2S Pickups, Phantom Metallic
$499.99
The G2420 StreamlinerTM Hollow Body Single-Cut with Chromatic II is big, bold, and righteous, and it’s ideal for the modern guitarist who wants something different. The G2420 is a dominating guitar for strong players, with current sonics, upgraded electronics, and a truly elegant styling that creates the newest generation of That Great Gretsch Sound!TM
Gretsch’s innovative Broad’TronTM BT-2S humbucking pickup is the key to the Streamliner’s sound. The high-output Broad’Tron pickup, designed exclusively for the Streamliner Collection, delivers increased clarity with tighter bass response for strong lows, clean highs, and a throaty middle. The typical control layout—neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control, and three-way pickup switching—captures and shapes its acoustic power. A fast-playing 12″-radius laurel fingerboard with exquisite pearloid Hump Block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits above the white-bound nato neck with a slim “U”-shaped profile, making it great for chord work or firing off quick riffs. The elegant Gretsch Chromatic II tailpiece, Adjusto-MaticTM bridge with secured laurel base, and synthetic bone nut provide rock-solid tuning stability.
Gretsch’s signature vintage-style black control knobs, wider F-holes for greater sonic projection, attractive aged white binding with updated purfling, slick-looking nickel hardware, arched laminated wood construction, and three-ply tortoise pickguard are all present. The G2420 is a wonderful take on the original sound and vintage style you’ve come to expect from Gretsch, and it’s nearly difficult to put down once you pick it up and start playing.
Aged Brooklyn Burst, Phantom Metallic, Village Amber, and Walnut Stain are all available.
