Installation Services: Our Work
Belleville East High School Baseball & Softball Stadiums

The Vision
After 30-plus years of service, Triad HS 5A football stadium sound system was not working 100%… or even 50% due to time in use and exposure to the elements. With a new school season approaching, Triad decided it was time to look into upgrading and fixing the sound. An important part of this design was using as much of the existing system as possible while giving them another 30-plus years of service.
Designing the Vision
After multiple meetings with all involved, our install team came up with a design that would reuse the existing mounting locations, speaker wire, and the system rack. Looking at the previous system as a baseline we were able to calculate the upgrades needed to exceed the level that was. Utilizing new wireless control equipment would give more control and flexibility for different events. Having that flexibility allows the system to be used both for football, track, dance, band and graduations.

Install & Execute the Vision
Swing City Installs provided all the parts and most of the labor needed to make the upgrade. Sixteen JBL 15” outdoor rated speakers were mounted high on the existing light pole’s utility nest. With the help of our friends from the electrical company and their high reaching lift, all the speakers were installed, aimed and tested in just a few days. Once the speakers were installed our attention was turned to the press box. The entire rack was upgraded using a Behringer X32 rack mounted digital mixer, a Denon media player, Shure wireless microphones, desktop microphone with switch, wireless antenna distribution and new crown amps. The digital sound board was key to allow us to have full control over the system through the use of a tablet or any networked computer on campus. A wireless Shure body pack with a manual referee switch and extended wireless allows coaches and refs to make on field calls live through the system.
