Swing City Music has a great band instrument rental program designed for students and adults alike who want to get into a brand new instrument, but aren’t sure if they’re going to develop a passion for it or not. We take the price of a new or used in stock instrument plus tax and divide it over a specific amount of months. That gives you your monthly payment amount. Payments are automatic through your bank account on either the 15th or the 30th of every month, whichever is closest to your starting date. You aren’t tied in and if at any point you decide that the instrument just isn’t quite what you had in mind, you can bring it back no questions asked! We also offer a repair policy on our instruments for an additional $4.00 a month. The repair policy covers pads, corks, keys, and general maintenance. Above, under the Rent to own Instrument Information link, you’ll see exact model numbers of the new student line instruments we provide with prices to make the choice as easy as possible for you. If you find what you’re looking for with us you can print out the Rent-to-Own application and come on in the store to find the instrument that’s right for you! We also rent used instruments that can be more affordable. Swing City Music wants you to be able to play, own and enjoy music so we strive to make instruments attainable for all budgets.
When renting through us, please make sure to bring a voided check along with an Illinois drivers license and a credit card!
